“Construction autonomy has to work around people, not behind a factory fence”

— Arn Autonomy Team

Arn's safety story is part of the product surface: perimeter awareness, auto-stop, remote e-stop, and workflows designed for site rules and controlled handoff.
Our values
01
Safety

Our construction machines are safe. They’re guided and overseen by operators, function within a specific area, and perform very specific, set tasks.

02
Career longevity

Our solutions reduce/eliminate the need for people to perform tasks that require people to be bent over, hunched, squatted, or in otherwise physically taxing positions, doing the same thing over and over again, and contribute to repetitive motion injuries.

03
Accuracy

Our machinery has advanced AI-driven technology that produces reliable output, that’s the same or better quality as that of a human.

04
Dependability

The output of our machines stands up to inspection and helps projects stay on schedule, reducing delays and costs.

05
Tech-forward

Our technology is driven by AI, but controlled by skilled, experienced operators, all contained in a machine engineered for the demands of jobsites.

Our mission is simple: take the tasks that wear people down, the bending, the repetition, the strain, and give them to machines engineered specifically for them. That means fewer injuries, longer careers, and tradespeople spending their time on work that needs a human mind.

Real autonomy, with a human in the loop
GRID doesn't need someone steering it. It recognizes what's around it, decides where to go next, positions itself, and ties each rebar intersection on its own. If it runs into something it can't solve, it flags the problem and a technician can take over remotely: the same human-in-the-loop model used by self-driving vehicle fleets.
No plans to upload, no setup
Crews don't need to load schematics or build a digital model. On its first pass, GRID drives the area and maps the rebar mat itself. Then it plans its route and gets to work.
One technician, a fleet of machines
GRID is designed so a single technician can oversee a fleet of machines at once. The job is simple: swap a wire spool, charge a battery, clean a camera. GRID signals what it needs with a status light and a phone notification, so no one has to stand over it.
Engineered for the jobsite
GRID's body is 100% stainless steel, and its cameras and LiDAR sit in protective housings made for dust, rain, extreme heat, and sun glare. If a machine is going to live on a jobsite, it has to take a hit.
Modular, so it stays on the job
Every major system on GRID is modular and built to be serviced quickly, so maintenance is fast and the robot spends more time working and less time in the shop.
One platform for the whole foundation phase
GRID is the first machine built on our autonomy platform, not the last. The same technology will carry into the next models on our roadmap, all focused on foundation work, so crews and equipment owners can learn one system and grow with it.
